US Senator, Majority Harry Reid requested President to stop deportation via executive order

The Hill reports that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has urged the President to look into using executive action to halt deportations.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, said he hopes President Obama will review possible administrative actions to halt the deportations of illegal immigrants now that reform legislation has stalled in Congress. “I would hope that administratively, the president will do what he can to take a look at deportations, but he is being burdened by the law as it exists, and we need to change it,” Reid told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
We have long argued that President Obama should use his executive power to provide much needed relief to those who are suffering under the administration’s draconian deportation practices. It is good to see the Senate leader exhorting action in the same direction.
